What You'll Do
- Drive sustainability and CSR initiatives that align with our strategic vision and meet compliance standards.
- Collaborate with passionate people across departments, plus government bodies, NGOs, and industry partners to deliver meaningful change.
- Champion refrigerant management projects that keep us ahead of regulations and on track with our decarbonization roadmap.
- Turn data into decisions gather, organize, and analyze sustainability metrics for reports, ISO management systems, and regulatory compliance.
- Keep our projects on track, from concept to completion, ensuring sustainability milestones are met (and celebrated!).
- Stay on the pulse of sustainability trends, policies, technologies, and market opportunities and turn insights into action.
- Transform research findings into engaging communications that inspire both internal teams and the wider community.
- Lead events, campaigns, and awareness programs that showcase Daikin's commitment to a sustainable future.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability Management, Environmental Engineering, or a related field bonus points if you hold certifications in GHG accounting, ISO 14064, or sustainability reporting.
- 8+ years in environmental management, sustainability, or ESG ideally in HVAC, manufacturing, or built environment sectors.
- Solid understanding of lifecycle refrigerant management and relevant regulations.
- Expertise in GHG accounting, refrigerant lifecycle impacts, and frameworks like the GHG Protocol & ISO 14064.
- Familiarity with sustainability reporting, carbon accounting tools, and climate-related financial disclosures.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, including experience with public-private partnerships.
