JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for managing the end-to-end payroll operations for the Group, with strong hands-on execution using the Infotech Payroll / HRIS system. The role ensures payroll accuracy, statutory compliance, timeliness, audit readiness and proper payroll governance in accordance with Company policies, KPI requirements and applicable labor and statutory regulations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1.Payroll Operations (Hands-on)
- Execute end-to-end monthly payroll processing using the Infotech payroll system, including salary, allowances, overtime, deductions, bonuses and adjustments.
- Ensure payroll accuracy of not less than 99.5% and payroll input accuracy of not less than 98%.
- Perform payroll validation checks, variance analysis and post-payroll reconciliation.
- Ensure timely payroll processing and salary disbursement in accordance with payroll calendars.
2.Payroll System & HRIS Management (Infotech - Mandatory)
- Act as the primary payroll system user for the Infotech Payroll / HRIS system.
- Maintain payroll master data, statutory configurations and system controls.
- Generate payroll reports and troubleshoot system or payroll-related issues.
- Ensure data integrity, confidentiality and compliance within the payroll system.
3.Statutory & Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure full compliance with statutory requirements including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, LHDN, Form E and EA submissions.
- Liaise with statutory bodies on payroll-related matters.
- Monitor legislative changes and implement necessary payroll updates.
4.Benefits & Insurance Administration
- Administer Group medical, insurance and employee benefits.
- Manage enrolment, deletion, coverage updates and claims coordination.
- Reconcile insurance invoices and ensure benefits data accuracy.
5.Payroll Audit & Governance Support
- Support internal, external and statutory payroll audits.
- Maintain proper payroll documentation, schedules and audit trails.
- Assist in strengthening payroll internal controls.
6.Payroll Reporting & Cost Monitoring
- Prepare payroll cost reports, headcount reports and management reports.
- Support manpower budgeting and cost monitoring exercises.
7.Increment, Bonus & Performance Exercise Support
- Support annual performance appraisal, increment and bonus exercises.
- Ensure approved adjustments are accurately reflected in payroll and statutory records.
8.Policy, SOP & Continuous Improvement
- Assist in reviewing and updating payroll-related policies, SOPs and Employee Handbook provisions.
- Recommend improvements to enhance payroll efficiency and accuracy.
9.Employee & Stakeholder Management
- Handle payroll-related enquiries and discrepancies professionally and confidentially.
- Resolve issues within the agreed turnaround time.
10.Ad-hoc Duties
- Perform ad-hoc payroll or HR-related duties as assigned by Management.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree in Human Resource Management, Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
- Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience in payroll operations.
- Mandatory hands-on experience using Infotech Payroll / HRIS system.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian employment and statutory laws.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll reporting.
- High integrity and confidentiality.
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Good time management and ability to meet deadlines.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
