Assistant Manager, Procurement

JOB DISCRIPTION

1. Ensure direct material and indirect material are purchased on a timely basis with the right quality, quantity and the right price.
2. Conduct effective negotiations with suppliers to support the company's cost saving programs and objectives.
3. Selectively develop alternate sources for contingency supply, risk management and cost effective initiatives.
4. Monitor and evaluate supplier effectiveness through conducting Vendor audit.
5. Assisting Duopharma Innovation Sdn Bhd in developing new products (as and when required) by sourcing for materials that meets to its required specifications and to support Marketing department in its new product launch.
6. To effectively coordinate with the suppliers on the delivery of the goods in order to ensure goods are being delivered on a timely basis.
7. To participate in other Procurement initiatives as and when required from time to time.
8. To work closely with other department (QA, RA, QC, Planning, Production and Warehouse) in resolving quality, technical, and delivery issues and other related matters.
9. To ensure the departmental processes are implemented and maintained at all time. To revise/ improve/ establish the relevant departmental processes in procedures, work instructions and forms
10. To upload Purchasing Group SOP/Form/ Working Instruction to Novatek system as an when is required.
11. To facilitate and assist in all Halal certification of our products, internal and external audit, and any Halal related activities to ensure smooth Halal operation.
12. To support QA with regards to ISO 9001: 2015 and GDPMD related matters, etc15. To ensure timely submission of saving report and any other related reports as an when is requested.

JOB REQUIREMENT

1. Degree in Business Administration/ Supply Chain.
2. Min 7 years to 10 years.
3. Experience in supply chain or procurement .
