Job Description

Tender Management - To coordinate & collaborate with BO to follow the guideline for the whole tender process starting from compliance assessment, NDA, RFP issuance up to EA sign-up. To work with Governance team for the initial assessment for the tenderer as part of due diligence process.

Procurement

  • To assist Senior Manager to ensure all BOs to adhere the policy/ SOP of procurement process
  • To ensure preliminary due diligence on the participating vendors completed by Business Owner
  • To manage the RFP document preparation, submission and opening process
  • To manage, safekeeping and as central register for all tender documents, correspondence and documentation under Tender Committee
  • To arrange meeting and as contact person with the potential vendors
  • To document meeting minutes and to record online meeting
  • To review presentation slide prepared by Business Owner
  • To prepare approval documentation, emails and memorandum
  • Administrator and ownership of the STMKB Tender mailbox: [Confidential Information] / Adminprocurement mailbox
  • To ensure tender process complies with internal policies, legal requirements and industry standards.
  • Administrator for SOP below RM1million

Job Description

  1. To coordinate & collaborate with BO to follow the guideline for the whole tender process starting from compliance assessment, NDA, RFP issuance up to EA sign-up.
  2. To work with Governance team for the initial assessment for the tenderer as part of due diligence process.
  3. To assist Senior Manager to ensure all BOs to adhere the policy/ SOP of procurement process
  4. Establish processes to achieve target TAT and monitor an effective and workable workflow and processes.
  5. Liaising with all Business Owner related with Procurement & Tender to comply with Procurement processes.
  6. To discuss/escalate to immediate supervisor / SM / Head of Department any issues and to resolve it.
  7. Analyse and evaluate subordinate personnel development and address performance issues of team members.
  8. Identify training course and provide coaching to team members for career development.
  9. Develop and standardize monthly report of section for HOD review
  10. Ensure operations are fully complied with statutory business rules including internal audit and compliance.
  11. Perform other duties as and when required.

Qualifications & Requirement

  • Degree or Diploma in Business Admin or any field or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years related working experience especially in Procurement
  • Experience in Insurance/Takaful organization will be an added advantage.
