Assistant Manager, Production

Job Descriptions

1. Production operations & performance management
2. KPI & Efficiency Optimization - monitoring and achieving critical plant targets including line efficiency, OEE, productivity and wastage reduction.
3. Supply Chain & Material Coordination - liaison with PMC, purchasing &warehouse to secure raw & packaging material availability before production
4. Quality, Food Safety & System Compliance - ensuring all operations and documentation strictly adhere to HALAL, GMP, & ISO standards
5. Data Analysis & Reporting - analyzing downtime figures to implement corrective actions, and submitting timely monthly performance reports to management
6. Manpower management & leadership
7. Resource Allocation & Budget Control - managing manpower arrangements to ensure schedules are met
8. Talent Training & Safety Compliance - conducting daily briefing with supervisors and line leaders, and spearheading staff training on safety, GMP, & SOP
9. Performance & Disciplinary Management - handling worker disciplinary issues directly and conducting formal performance appraisal for supervisors, line leaders, and production technicians
10. Asset maintenance & continuous improvement
11. Maintenance & Breakdown Liaison - coordinating closely with the maintenance department on machine breakdown, job requests and monitoring both internal and outsources PM schedules.
12. Procurement of Technical Supplies - overseeing the monitoring and purchasing of production spare parts and consumable items to minimize operational downtime.
13. R&D trails & Line Improvements - partnering with R&D team to arrange, coordinate, and executive production trial runs, providing critical recommendations to ensure seamless transitions into actual commercial production.

Job Specifications

1. Minimum degree in any field
2. Minimum 3 years of working experience in f&b manufacturing
3. Experience in SAP system
4. Good converse in Malay, English, Mandarin & Cantonese
5. Able to work under pressure
6. Good analytical and problem-solving skills
7. Experience in HACCP or ISO environment
