Assistant Manager QAQC

Role Description The Assistant Manager QAQC will oversee daily quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure that all products and processes meet company standards and regulatory requirements. This full-time, on-site role based in WP. Kuala Lumpur involves monitoring food preparation and production procedures, conducting regular inspections, and implementing corrective actions when deviations are identified. The role includes maintaining QAQC documentation, coordinating with operations and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues, and supporting staff training on food safety, hygiene, and standard operating procedures. The Assistant Manager QAQC will analyze quality data, prepare reports, and recommend continuous improvements to enhance product consistency, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Quality assurance and quality control expertise, including experience with food safety standards, HACCP, and hygiene regulations.
• Strong skills in process monitoring, auditing, and documentation, with the ability to identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Competence in data analysis, reporting, and use of basic QA tools to track trends and support decision-making.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working closely with operations, production, and store teams.
• Proven ability to train and coach staff on SOPs, safety practices, and quality guidelines.
• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in quick-service restaurants, F&B production, or fast-moving consumer goods is highly beneficial.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work flexible hours to support 24/7 operations when required.
