Job Description

Job Purpose

The Assistant Manager, Regional sales plays a key role in driving business growth by acquiring, servicing and retaining both corporate and individual clients. The role focuses on promoting Treasury Solutions, delivering high quality client servicing, facilitate onboarding of new clients, ensure compliance with internal processes, strengthening operational efficiency and supporting business expansion initiatives

Responsibilities:-

1. Drive Business Growth from Treasury Solutions by achieving assigned targets on Revenue, AUM, Net Sales, and New Account Acquisition in Southern region

2. Proactively identify prospects and acquire new clients to expand the Treasury Solutions portfolio 3. Assess clients treasury requirements and provide proposal to recommend appropriate solutions. 4. Conduct suitability assessments and ensure proper documentation and approvals are in place before onboarding new clients.

5. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support onboarding, compliance checks and account creation

6. Ensuring smooth daily operations through effective coordination and addressing client needs promptly

7. Providing consistent value-added service and maintaining high quality client servicing to achieve long term satisfaction and retention

8. Conduct On-going Due Diligence on clients transactions and practices in line with suitability and compliance

9. Ensure full compliance with all internal policies, procedures and regulatory guidelines

10. Provide weekly sales activity report, pipelines updates and strategic initiatives.

11. Provide IUTA/CUTA support if needed : Marketing, Funds Update and Training session

Requirements:-

  • Degree qualification in Business, Marketing, Finance or equivalent
  • 2 - 3 years of working experience in Sales or Financial Services Industry
  • Federation of Investment Managers Malaysia (FIMM) License holder preferred
  • Strong understanding of Unit Trust Investment and Treasury Solutions
  • Excellent interpersonal skill with the ability to build and maintain customer relationship effectively Effective verbal and written communication with proficiency in English
  • Good problem solving and analytical skill
  • Self-motivator and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements (KYC, Due Diligence, Compliance) is an advantage
  • Able to collaborate and work with cross-functional teams.
