Sepang International Circuit, officially opened in 1999, is a state-of-the-art motorsport facility situated 85km from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Renowned for its ultramodern features, it has been recognized as the Home of Motorsports in Malaysia and plays a pivotal role in driving the region's motorsport ambitions. The 5.543 km track boasts 15 turns, 8 straights, and thrilling overtaking opportunities, attracting international events and accommodating up to 130,000 spectators. Easily accessible from the Kuala Lumpur International Airport, the circuit serves as both a racing and event hub with world-class facilities like a three-story Pit Building, Grandstands, and the administrative Welcome Centre.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Manager SSHE (Safety, Security, Health, and Environment) located in Sepang. The Assistant Manager will oversee and ensure compliance with safety, security, health, and environmental regulations across all circuit operations. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing SSHE policies, conducting risk assessments, managing incident reporting and response, facilitating training sessions, and collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to maintain a safe and secure environment. The role also involves regular audits, reporting, and the promotion of safety-first culture within the organization.

Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of Safety, Security, Health, and Environmental (SSHE) standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Experience in risk assessment, incident reporting, and emergency response management.
  • Proficient in developing and implementing SSHE policies, protocols, and training programs.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills for team coordination and stakeholder engagement.
  • Proficient in data analysis, reporting, and maintaining compliance documentation.
  • Relevant certifications in occupational health, safety, or environmental management are an advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree in Safety Management, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in facility safety management, events, or motorsport environments is highly preferred.
