About the Job

As a Business Development Specialist who is expected to undertake projects and initiatives to drive high NBEV sales by way of engaging agency through product training, analysing product sales with recommended action plan to improve performance, demonstrating creativity in promoting product awareness to agency force and being proactive in executing and managing product strategy and communication.

  • Provide business development support for assigned branches/region and work closely with the agency members and respective Sales Team in providing product enquiry support, rapport building with agency force, training and engagement initiatives.
  • Handle products and campaigns communication and strategy.

  1. Write product-related agency circular.
  2. Analyse product sales response with recommended action plan to enhance productivity.
  3. Coordinate with Product Management, New Business, Customer Service Departments, and other stakeholders to ensure effective development of agency communication to ensure new products and campaigns launch in effective and efficient manner.
  4. Organise product talks, develop marketing message and flyer to promote product awareness for agency force to increase sales urgency.

  • Take charge of assigned projects by determining support and ideas to increase agency productivity.
  • Demonstrate initiatives to execute assigned projects with follow up and follow through, and contribute ideas to improve deliverables in a consistent manner.
  • Maintain awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats, and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
  • Highlight any potential concerns/risks and proactively share best risk management practices.
  • Take accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and take appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.

We are looking for people with

  • At least a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or any related field.
  • Fast learner with good knowledge of Microsoft Office - Excel, PowerPoint and Words.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data.
  • Ability to work independently and excellent in communication, public speaking and training skills.
  • Demonstrate alignment with the organisation's core values through expected behaviours.
  • High level of integrity, take accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork.
  • Take initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes.
