Job Purpose
The Assistant Manager of Strategy & Performance, Digital Xperience, is responsible for supporting the strategic planning, execution, and performance management of the department's initiatives, including the MyRapid PULSE app and all other digital and non-digital projects. The role ensures that strategic insights are translated into actionable initiatives, drives adoption and engagement, contributes to revenue growth, and embeds organizational values across all departmental programs. The AVP acts as a key enabler for the team in delivering the division's objectives, providing oversight, analysis, and operational support to maximize impact and performance across all initiatives.
Key Accountabilities
Strategic Planning & Innovation
- Support the development and execution of the department's strategic plan, providing insights on positioning, market differentiation, and growth priorities across all digital and related initiatives.
- Monitor and analyse digital mobility trends, emerging technologies, and innovation opportunities to provide recommendations that enhance the department's competitive advantage.
- Assist in translating strategic insights into actionable initiatives with measurable outcomes, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Identify opportunities for growth, optimization, and competitive advantage across departmental initiatives.
Performance Management & App Growth
- Oversee performance metrics across all departmental initiatives, including apps, digital platforms, campaigns, and programs (ratings, reviews, monthly active users, engagement, and retention, performance), ensuring targets are met.
- Implement frameworks to optimize quality, user experience, engagement, and customer satisfaction across initiatives.
- Track, evaluate, and report on the progress and impact of initiatives, providing actionable recommendations to drive improvements.
Strategic Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with internal teams, vendors, and external stakeholders to ensure successful planning and execution of initiatives.
- Initiate and facilitate strategic workshops, planning sessions, and meetings to align priorities, foster innovation, and drive cross-initiative synergy.
- Plan and execute programs that increase awareness, strengthen branding, and generate revenue across the department's portfolio.
Revenue & Budget Oversight
- Lead and support revenue-generating initiatives across departmental projects, ensuring financial targets are achieved.
- Oversee budget planning, monitoring, and reporting for initiatives, ensuring optimal resource allocation and operational efficiency.
Reporting & Governance
- Ensure timely, accurate, and insightful reporting on departmental performance to support strategic decision-making.
- Present updates, insights, and recommendations to leadership teams to inform planning and investment priorities.
Cultural Value Execution

- Act as a role model to inspire teams and stakeholders to uphold PRIDE's cultural values in daily operations.
Qualifications, Skills & Knowledge
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, Digital Media, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
- Additional certifications in Digital Strategy, Product Management, Data Analytics, or Project Management will be an advantage.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in strategy, performance management, digital product management, or program/project management.
- Ability to translate strategic priorities into actionable plans and measurable initiatives across multiple projects.
- Experience in planning, monitoring, and optimizing budgets and revenue generating initiatives.
- Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Identifies opportunities to enhance app features, such as loyalty programs, and gamification elements. Supports the testing, monitoring, and optimization of initiatives to improve user experience and app performance. Keeps up-to-date with emerging digital technologies and mobility trends to provide relevant input.
- Knowledge of app development lifecycles, API integrations, cloud solutions, and data analytics. Knowledge of app performance metrics, user engagement strategies, and digital product lifecycle management.
- Proficiency with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Power BI, Tableau) to track performance and generate insights.
