- Manage tax compliance, reporting, and filing processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Provide tax advisory services to support business operations and decision-making.
- Conduct tax planning and identify opportunities for tax savings or incentives.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with local tax regulations and laws in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
- Prepare and review tax computations and related documentation.
- Coordinate with external tax consultants and authorities as necessary.
- Support audits and resolve tax-related issues or inquiries effectively.
- Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and communicate their implications to relevant stakeholders.
Profile
A Successful Assistant Manager Tax Should Have
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent are highly regarded.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian tax laws and regulations.
- Proven expertise in tax compliance, planning, and advisory.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proficiency in relevant accounting and tax software tools.
