Summary
The Assistant Manager - Revenue Management supports the development and execution of revenue management strategies to optimize hotel profitability. Working closely with the Revenue Manager, Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams, this role is responsible for analyzing market trends, forecasting demand, managing pricing and inventory, and identifying opportunities to maximize revenue across all business segments.
Responsibilities
- Support the development and implementation of revenue management strategies to maximize RevPAR, ADR, occupancy, and overall hotel profitability.
- Monitor market demand, competitor pricing, and industry trends to recommend pricing and inventory strategies.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly revenue reports, forecasts, and performance analyses.
- Manage room inventory, rate availability, and distribution channels to optimize revenue opportunities.
- Assist in maintaining pricing accuracy across all booking channels, including the hotel's website, OTAs, GDS, and brand systems.
- Analyze booking pace, market segmentation, and business mix to identify opportunities and mitigate revenue risks.
- Work closely with the Sales, Reservations, Marketing, and Front Office teams to align commercial strategies and maximize business performance.
- Participate in revenue meetings and provide insights to support strategic business decisions.
- Ensure revenue management systems and reporting tools are accurately maintained and utilized effectively.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and annual business planning processes.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and market trends.
- Sound understanding of hotel revenue management principles, pricing strategies, and distribution channels.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with revenue management systems and hotel platforms such as Hyatt Revenue Management Systems, Opera PMS, STR, IDEAS, or similar tools is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Commercial mindset with a proactive approach to driving business performance.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, Finance, Statistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Revenue Management, Reservations, Front Office, or a related commercial role within the hospitality industry.
- Experience with Hyatt systems or international hotel brands is an advantage.
