Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily transport activities, including routing, scheduling, and loading accuracy to ensure timely deliveries.
- Track transportation KPIs such as delivery time, vehicle turnaround time, and cost per unit.
- Supervise transportation teams, including planners and drivers, ensuring proper scheduling and training.
- Liaise with vendors and internal stakeholders to manage transportation needs and resolve logistics issues.
- Prepare and analyze transportation data to optimize expenses, reduce costs, and prepare operational reports for senior management
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Possess minimum 5 years of experience in transportation logistics, planning or a supervisory role.
- Familiarity with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) or SAP R/3 is highly advantageous.
- Data Analytics skills : Microsoft Excel, Power BI (added advantage)
- Must be willing to be based in Shah Alam, Selangor.
