Job Purpose
Deliver accurate and insightful analysis from multiple data sources, enabling the Company to plan strategically and make informed business decisions, with a strong focus on data modelling, forecasting and performance evaluation.
Key Accountabilities
- Conduct ridership forecasting to support service planning and decision-making.
- Manage and analyse ridership and fare-related data to support evidence-based economic assessment.
- Support the development of pricing strategies.
- Conduct fare structure reviews, fare elasticity analysis and financial evaluations for fare products. Execute strategic initiatives/projects, ensuring timely completion and consistent alignment with the objectives.
- Provide economic, ridership, statistics and operational insights or data/ input to support government agenda (e.g. NACCOL, My50, Buku Statistik Pengangkutan, Sesi Pemukiman Daya Saing Negara).
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support organisational mission and objectives.
Qualifications, Skills & Knowledge
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Mathematic, Statistics, Accounting or equivalent.
- Minium 5 years progressive experience in data modelling & analysis, research, economics or related fields.
- Strong capability in statistical analysis of financial and non financial data (e.g., ridership, fare structures, revenue trends).
- Proficiency in report writing and presentation, including preparation of detailed reports, slide decks and consolidation of findings for management and stakeholders.
- Expertise in Statistical Tools (SPSS / Phyton / R & EMME) for data modelling and predictive analytics.
- Proficiency in business intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI) for dashboard creation and performance monitoring.
