Purpose Of The Role
- Focal point to collaborate with finance and Transporters to maintain invoice / accounts receivable. Compiling and process information such as rate cards, ad-hoc truck requests, Ariba, GR. Ensuring Transporters are billed correctly for services offered.
- To assist and support route planning, load balancing, FarEye future state planning as a routing tool; to improve customer satisfaction by ensuring that deliveries are made on time. Secondly, helps to ensure that goods and services are delivered in the most efficient manner.
- To review and validate route optimization for CDC, SHT; increased visibility, faster delivery times, more accurate delivery, implement customer trade optimisation for other ZPMY business operation.
- To minimize the total transportation (and possibly production) costs
- To take the lead for POD process by ensuring the team ensure all delivery document for recipients to endorse, with signature acknowledging all expected shipment items are present and undamaged. This proof of delivery provides sellers with the documentation necessary to verify order fulfilment and invoice accuracy
What You'll Do
- Be responsible to support day-to-day operations in Dispatch & Transport by ensuring adequate trucking to perform outbound deliveries.
- Plan and coordinate with customer service teams to ensure timely operations (shipments clearance and delivery) execution.
- To fulfil customer request and immediate resolve if complaint raise.
- To ensures all PDD transaction are completed within the timeline and maintain OTIF target, work with Dispatch, CS & picking team and generate daily picking volume for next day delivery.
- Fulfil customers order and delivery requirements for Local, MT & Modern Trade
- Verify with dispatch team to ensure correct PDD are picked and delivered.
- Optimize route planning and ensure delivery driver follow the stipulated plan according to FarEye load balancing, delivery sequencing.
- Manage day to day 3PT deployment of dedicated trucks and drivers and dispatching trucks efficiently.
- Resource planning with 3PT on truck availability in time of volume surge or slowdown
- Ensure all related documents such manifest, invoice, FarEye order pick up are ready and data are pushed out to tablets timely to facilitate delivery process.
- Liaise with dispatch team and customer service on returned goods investigation and follow up actions on failed and returned delivery job by 3PT
- Ensure delivery orders are signed off by customer and delivery completed FarEye compliance.
- Record and verify the additional truck cost & No show with billing team daily
- To conduct FarEye review meeting with 3PT
- Able to review, validate and submit required reports BI dashboard review
- Evaluate the performance of assigned personnel and provide training experience, conduct disciplinary action, and recommend dismissal as require.
- Lead and manage the POD tracking and submission
- Performs other job-related functions as and when required by superior.
- Coordinates activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and directing the work of subordinate employees.
- Evaluates and verifies employee performance through the review of completed work assignments and work techniques.
- Identifies staff development and training needs and ensures that training is obtained.
- Ensures proper labor relations and conditions of employment are maintained. Maintains records, prepares reports, and composes correspondence relative to the work.
- Conducts projects in urban federal assistance planning programs, urban, rural, and regional trunkline studies, urban freeway analyses, planning research, transportation needs, and socioeconomic studies.
- Lead project additions and changes to the department's transportation program. Directs the monitoring and reporting of the transportation program progress toward strategic and tactical goals.
- Directs the activities of Transportation planning and analysts in developing transportation plans, and programs. Directs the activities of multi-discipline teams, which coordinate the work with local transporters.
- Directs the development of new transportation planning techniques, tools and the maintenance of automated tools to assist department.
- Directs or manages the collection of field data and information on local conditions for use in transportation planning studies.
Must-Have
What Will Make You Successful:
- 4-6 years of experience in transportation & warehousing operations
- Knowledge on GMP, GSDP, GDPMD or ISO 9001
