Job Description

POP MART, founded in 2010 (SEHK: 9992), is a market-leading entertainment company and a global champion of designer toy culture. Through global artist development, Intellectual Property (IP) operations, designer toy culture evangelism, and strategic investments, we have built an integrated platform covering the entire designer toy value chain, allowing artists to focus solely on their craft and giving stage to talents from all over the world. With 7,000+ employees globally, POP MART has successfully set foot in more than 30 countries and regions, serving a diverse audience of cultural pioneers and art fans.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Marketing Manager in planning and executing brand activations, in-store promotions, pop-ups, and PR events across Malaysia — from preparation to on-ground coordination.
  • Support the rollout of POP MART's PR and marketing campaigns in the Malaysian market to enhance brand awareness and engagement.
  • Coordinate with shopping malls, event organisers, and retail partners to secure event spaces and ensure smooth execution.
  • Track and report on event performance, media coverage, and customer feedback, providing actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • Assist in researching and identifying relevant local festivals, cultural events, and high-traffic venues for potential brand exposure.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market trends to support creative ideas and tactical planning.
  • All other duties or projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 3–5 years of experience in marketing, event planning, PR, or activations, preferably within retail, lifestyle, or youth-focused consumer brands.
  • Hands-on experience in coordinating campaigns and events from preparation to execution.
  • Diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of Malaysian consumer behaviour, shopping culture, and seasonal trends.
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Mandarin as the working language, with English or Malay as a second language. Proficiency in both is required.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for delivering engaging brand experiences.

What we offer:

  • We provide market-competitive packages.
  • Opportunities to learn and lead: we provide on-the-job training to ensure employees are equipped with the most up-to-date skill sets and knowledge.
  • Career development: we work with you to advance your career through short-term assignments, new experiences, etc.
