Manage schedule arrangements to attend any corrective, preventive, or predictive maintenance related to solar PV systems, initiate fault diagnosis and corrective actions according to Service Level Agreement
Review daily work and routine maintenance progress by Technicians
Review all the maintenance outcomes performed by Technicians and Contractors. Ensure that the countermeasures applied are in accordance with the standards, procedures and specifications allowed
Conduct QA & QC inspections during project execution to ensure project quality meeting the standards
Monitoring system performance by gathering relevant data and produce statistical performance reports
Ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment legislation
Performing risk assessments and preparing Method of Statement according to the specific maintenance process
Communicate effectively with authorities, engineering consultants, competent persons, contractors, vendors and clients during projects phase and service warranty period
Maintain and control proper documentation and related records through the channels provided
Supervise and monitor any works related to solar PV system performed by appointed Contractor
Assist the Engineer in processing quotations, invoices, PO, WO, DO, and payment status to registered vendors
Provide Inspection Report, Preventive Maintenance Report, and any product warranty claim report including inverter, PV module, data logger etc
Provide daily, monthly, quarterly, and annually operating and performance reports on information about electricity production, efficiency, availability, maintenance performed, outages, results of inspections, manufacturer recommended services, replacements, control settings, or adjustments of equipment and protective devices
Manage and maintain assigned company vehicle (If applicable)
Manage, maintain, and sustain spare parts and tools inventory
Support and involve with O&M related works at rooftop projects as per instructed by Engineer
Requirements
Possess 2 years of working experience as Solar PV O&M Technician, or in an environment involving operation and controlling low voltage electrical equipment
Extensive knowledge on electrical & solar PV theoretical understanding and troubleshooting skills
Excellent analytical, problem solving and reporting skills
Possess sufficient knowledge of the Electricity Supply Act 1990 and Electricity Regulations 1994
Possess Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Certified Electrical Supervisor by Energy Commission (ST) is an added advantage
Certified LV Chargeman is an added advantage
Good in computer literate
Customer oriented, independent, and good interpersonal skills
Possess valid driving license D and GDL, and able to base in Penang and Kedah
Good communication in both Bahasa Malaysia and English (verbally and written)
Physically and mentally strong and fit
Able to work and respond on weekends and public holidays if required
Able to work outstation to other regional sites if required
