A multinational corporation (MNC) in the manufacturing industry is seeking an all-rounded Assistant Plant HR Manager to join their team.

Role Description

The Assistant Plant HR Manager supports and leads Human Resource operations at the plant level. This role balances hands-on HR operational responsibilities with strategic human capital initiatives to ensure workforce efficiency, legal compliance, employee engagement, and organizational sustainability within a manufacturing environment. The position plays a critical role in Industrial Relations (IR), Employee Relations (ER), Talent Management, Training & Development, Compensation & Benefits (C&B), Employee Wellbeing, and HR Governance. The role also actively reinforces the company's HSSE (Health, Safety, Security & Environment) culture by ensuring HR practices align with safety, quality, and sustainability standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business Administration, Business Finance, or equivalent.
  • Lean / Six Sigma certification is an added advantage.
  • Minimum 4 7 years HR experience in the manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum 3 years in a supervisory / people leadership role.
  • Minimum 3 years exposure to ISO9001, ISO45001, ISO14001 / OSHA practices.
  • Strong understanding of Malaysian labour laws & statutory regulations.
