Job Summary
Oversee and manage retail store design and renovation projects for new outlets, including fixtures, equipment, and project administration. Responsible for planning and controlling project budgets and timelines to ensure successful delivery. Coordinate closely with Procurement, Finance, Design, and Fit-Out teams to ensure smooth project execution and timely handover of completed stores.
Job Responsibilities
- Plan, manage, and coordinate store renovation works for new outlets, including project administration and ensuring all data systems are updated accurately.
- Collaborate closely with Property, Finance, Procurement, and Fit-Out teams to execute new store projects, including fixtures delivery and cost control.
- Manage the design development and approval process with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Evaluate and monitor contractors and suppliers to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and compliance with company design standards.
- Maintain strong relationships with fixture suppliers and oversee inventory management.
- Plan, manage, and track CAPEX for new stores, refits, and store closures.
Person Specifications
Education & Qualification
- Diploma or Degree Holder in Architecture, Project Management or related field
Relevant Experience & Years of Service
- At least 5 years in project management in store renovation experience
- Experienced in retail indsutry will be added advantage
Technical Skills, Professional Knowledge & Competencies
- Project management and coordination of store renovations
- Budgeting, cost control, and CAPEX tracking
- Background in merchandising or interior design; proficient in AutoCAD, Excel, and Word
- Vendor and stakeholder management
- Quality assurance and compliance with company standards
- Leadership, teamwork, and proactive problem-solving
- Strong communication skills in English, Bahasa Melayu, and Chinese
- Proficient in writing emails and letters in English and Bahasa Melayu
- Ability to manage multiple projects and travel to sites when required
