Public
- To have a close working relationship with all stakeholders, restaurant managers and guests.
- Interact with outside contacts
- Guests – to ensure their total satisfaction
- Vendors – to ensure adequate inventory of supplies and equipment, to discuss pricing or service issues, to resolve any vendor performance issues, etc.
- Regulatory agencies – regarding safety and compliance matters
- Recommend and/or Initiate disciplinary or other staffing/human resources-related actions in accordance with company rules and policies
- Work closely with Restaurant Manager on planning and executing restaurant promotional activities.
- Wear your uniform with pride and grooming as per hotel standard.
- To assist other outlet's or department whenever requested by the HOD.
Financial
- Assist in controlling and analysing quality levels of products and service, guest satisfaction, merchandising and marketing, operating costs and sanitation.
- Develop formal training plans and conduct on the job training sessions for Food & Beverage department employees.
- Assist with the compilation of new menus (F&B) and ensure POS form raised with correct pricing.
- Handle festive reservations as well as seasonal promotions reservations and billing, including the sending of pro-forma invoices.
- Actively provide feedback on products and what can be implemented to achieve the budget.
- To manage overtime and casual labour costs effectively
Guest Experience
- Organize and coordinate all F&B Marketing and promotional events like appreciation events for the departments.
- Ensure guests are greeted upon arrival. Respond appropriately to guest complaints
- Maintain the guest database for the hotel's F&B special events.
- Respond to all guest's enquiries in regards to the Food and Beverage department and its operations.
Responsible Business
- Ensure that all restaurant facilities are cleaned, vacuumed, and properly stocked according to anticipated business volumes.
- Actively check all menus and collaterals and other sales products to ensure we are OBSM compliant.
- Schedule employees to ensure proper shift coverage.
- Attend and contribute to daily and weekly Food & Beverage departmental meetings.
- Supervise day-to-day shift activities of one or more food and beverage outlet(s).
- May serve as Manager on Duty. Perform other duties as assigned.
- Actively check restaurant furniture's and operating equipment's are in order and in working condition.
- Responsible to update restaurant preventive maintenance list and report to Engineering for any defects/faulty

- Flexible – night, weekend and holiday shifts are all part of the job.
- Compliant – as well as meeting local laws on food handling and serving alcohol, you'll be above the minimum age required and fluent in the local language.
- Articulate – a great communicator, you'll be warm, welcoming and easy to talk to.
- Literate – you'll need a good grasp of reading, writing and basic maths.
