OVERALL SCOPE OF JOB DESCRIPTION
To assist Restaurant Manager to plan, organizes, direct and coordinates the staffs and resources for efficient, well prepared and profitable service of food and beverage and ensure the service in the restaurant are according to service standard.
He is a passionate person in promoting teamwork, display a confident, professional manner, flexibility with high energy levels, show initiative and sense of urgency, and observe confidentiality and high level of integrity.
SPECIFIC DUTIES & PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
Product:
1. Verifies constantly that the physical product in all aspect of the restaurant is consistent with the department standards.
2. Ensure the cleanliness of the restaurant and the surrounding areas are at highest level at all times
3. Ensures that policies and procedures in regards to staff appearance, hygiene and sanitation are enforced.
General:
1. Conduct a daily briefing for all the staff members
2. Ensure all staff has accomplished their side duties. Checks side station before and after meal periods.
3. Monitor food and beverage quality and portion control
4. Control usage of outlet supplies and equipment
Personnel and Training Responsibilities:
1. Assist Restaurant Manager to provide training to increase the knowledge of the staffs
2. Project a positive and motivated attitude among his peers and employees at all times
3. Ensures that all areas of responsibility are properly staffed, supervised and operating smoothly
