Job Description

Primary Focus:

  • Strategic planning and execution of merchandising across retail channels to drive sales and visibility.

Objective:

  • Responsible for developing and executing merchandising strategies across retail channels to drive sales and visibility.
  • Oversees product assortment planning, supplier negotiations, inventory management, visual merchandising, and promotional execution. Collaborates with marketing, sales, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment of in-store activities with brand and commercial objectives.
  • Leads a team of merchandising coordinators and ensures planogram compliance, stock availability, and promotional setup across outlets.

Scope of Work:

  1. To review, analyse and set guideline on merchandiser segmented coverage across all channels
  2. To set on-boarding calendar and TTT to train merchandisers partnering with Sales Capability Manager
  3. To review merchandisers OKR & SIP and propose changes if needed to achieve company goals

Channel Orientation:

  • Multi-channel (MT, GT, EMB, retail chains), with emphasis on in-store execution and merchandising standards.

Execution Responsibility:

  • Leads merchandising team to ensure planogram compliance, stock availability, and promotional setup.

Strategic Role:

  • Involved in merchandisers career pathing plan with Sales Leadership and HRBP. To ensure merchandisers are equipped with right tools in trade to execute with excellence our PICOS.

Collaboration:

  • Works cross-functionally with trade marketing and sales teams.

Team Leadership:

  • Manages field merchandisers (direct/ indirect).

Requirements:

  • Certificate or Diploma in Business/ Finance.
  • Above 3 years in Sales/ Marketing.
  • Have experience in designing/ re-designing merchandisers coverage area.
