Assistant Sales Manager

Job Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities within assigned customer accounts and market segments.
• Act as the primary commercial contact for customers, building trusted relationships and ensuring timely resolution of business-related matters.
• Lead the preparation and submission of commercial proposals, coordinating with relevant functions to deliver competitive and timely responses.
• Manage commercial discussions, contract negotiations, and pricing activities to achieve targeted business outcomes.
• Analyze customer requirements, market developments, and competitive activities to support strategic decision-making and business planning.
• Develop account growth strategies and maintain a healthy business opportunity pipeline.
• Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and growth planning activities.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, finance, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment between customer expectations and business objectives.

Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in business development, sales, engineering, purchasing, supply chain, or related commercial functions within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience supporting customer-facing commercial activities, proposal preparation, and business negotiations.
• Ability to evaluate commercial models, cost assumptions, and business cases.
• Strong communication, relationship management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Willingness to travel regularly for customer and business-related activities.
