You will be responsible for driving business growth by promoting a comprehensive range of testing and certification services to medical device manufacturers (active/non-active medical devices). You will be promoting Testing services aligned with international standards for Microbiology, Biocompatibility, Chemical, Environmental, Electrical Safety, EMC Safety, software life-cycle, cybersecurity and sustainability etc; Certification Schemes such as ISO 13485, EU MDR, MDSAP, Malaysian Local Schemes etc.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, evaluate, and pursue business opportunities across a wide spectrum of testing and certification services for medical and healthcare-related products.
- Establish and drive strategic partnerships to develop new markets, services, and key accounts within assigned territories.
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies and sales tactics to achieve or exceed revenue and profitability targets, while expanding the customer base.
- Build and maintain long-term partnerships that deliver measurable value for clients and business partners.
- Compensation is structured under an On-Target Earnings (OTE) scheme.
Key Requirements
- Degree in engineering/biomedical, medical technology, life sciences, or related technical discipline, with a minimum of 3 years of B2B sales experience in an international environment.
- Demonstrated success in sales and/or business development, with a consultative selling approach to expand new and existing accounts and manage large-volume transactions.
- Strong drive to succeed, resilient mindset, and ability to quickly absorb technical knowledge across diverse topics.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and networking skills with a clear and persuasive delivery style.
- Willingness to travel within Malaysia for client visits and events.
