Role Description The Assistant Sales & Product Group Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Kuching. This position supports the Sales & Product Group Manager in driving sales performance, coordinating product portfolios, and implementing sales strategies. Day-to-day tasks include assisting with account management, monitoring sales targets, preparing sales reports, and supporting product launches and promotions. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams such as marketing, logistics, and customer service to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction. The Assistant Sales & Product Group Manager also helps gather market feedback, track competitor activities, and contribute to continuous improvement of sales processes and product offerings.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in sales support, account management, or product coordination within a commercial or industrial environment.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills, including the ability to interpret sales data and market information to support decision-making.
  • Proficient communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external customers.
  • Organizational and time-management abilities, including prioritizing tasks, meeting deadlines, and handling multiple projects concurrently.
  • Basic proficiency in office productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software, CRM systems) and comfort working with data.
  • Proactive problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and willingness to take ownership of assigned responsibilities.
  • Ability to work on-site in Kuching and adapt to a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment.
  • Relevant diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
