Job Description

The ideal candidate will provide and maintain excellent customer service and be the frontline service contact for our external customers.

Responsibilities

  • Multi-Platform Operations: Supervise technical support for complex die-sorting platforms handling concurrent multiple-input and multiple-output form factors (Wafer-to-Tape, Waffleto-Reel, Tray-to-Tray).
  • Vision Application Escalation: Act as the ultimate on-site expert for troubleshootingAutomated Optical Inspection (AOI) systems, comprising high-resolution visible optical cameras and Infrared (IR) vision applications used for subsurface defect screening.
  • Laser Subsystem Oversight: Lead engineers in calibrating and aligning precision laser marking subsystems used for traceability codes, and character recognition (OCR).
  • Recipe & Calibration Control: Audit and optimize machine recipes, vision alignment matrices, and multi-axis pick-and-place parameters to guarantee placement repeatability to meet machine specification.
  • Uptime & Throughput Tracking: Enforce MTBA analyse with customers to meet strict equipment uptime and Sorted Units Per Hour (SUPH) performance metrics

Qualifications

  • Degree: Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a highly related technical field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on field service experience with backend semiconductor capital equipment, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
  • Equipment Mastery: Proven troubleshooting experience with automated die sorters, pick andplace die sorters, or high-speed turret handlers.
  • Vision Systems: Mastery of AOI integration, camera calibration, lighting configurations (coaxial, ring, backlighting), and vision tools used for sub-surface die inspection.
  • Motion Control: Advanced knowledge of multi-axis linear motors, rotary turret mechanisms, pneumatic ejector pins, and electronic wafer mapping file processing
  • Language Skills: High professional English proficiency for creating detailed failure analysis logs and technical presentation delivery
  • Applicants must be able to travel within SEA, as per assign by Superior.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, willing to learn and work hard.
  • Able to work independently, plan and execute the plan
  • Team player and ability to work within multiracial environment
