MACEE Fulbright is a binational commission for Malaysia and the United States that was founded in 1963 to promote educational exchange between the two countries. MACEE has become Malaysians sole, objective, and authoritative link to U.S. education. The commission is overseen by a Board of Directors, 10 regular members, and two Honorary Co-Chairmen: The U.S. Ambassador to Malaysia and the Malaysian Minister of Higher Education.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Executive Assistant to Executive Director. The Executive Assistant will be responsible for providing executive administrative assistance, executive support, expense reports, diary management, and administrative assistance to the Executive Director. The Executive Assistant will also be responsible for managing the ED's schedule, travel arrangements, Board engagement and daily communications.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in executive administrative assistance and executive support
  • Experience in managing expense reports and diary management
  • Experience in administrative assistance and managing daily communication
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred
  • Fluency in English and Malay is preferred
