As an Assistant Vice President (AVP) in our Rating Division, you will play a pivotal role in delivering insightful credit analysis and driving informed decision-making for key stakeholders.

Your Role

As an AVP, you will be at the forefront of credit risk evaluation, combining analytical rigour with industry insight to assess the creditworthiness of corporates and financial instruments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Credit Analysis

Evaluate the financial and credit profiles of assigned entities by analysing key quantitative and

qualitative factors influencing credit quality.

• Deliver High-Impact Insights

Prepare comprehensive rating reports supported by deep research into industry trends,

business fundamentals, financial performance, and ESG considerations.

• Portfolio Monitoring & Surveillance

Actively monitor a portfolio of rated entities, identifying emerging risks and ensuring timely

updates of rating opinions.

• Engage & Influence Stakeholders

Participate in and contribute to internal rating discussions, client engagements, and external

briefings. Clearly articulate rating rationales and credit perspectives.

• Present & Communicate with Confidence

Prepare and present findings to both internal committees and external stakeholders,

demonstrating strong analytical narratives.

• Collaborate on Strategic Initiatives

Contribute to cross-functional projects and initiatives that are aligned to organisational

excellence and corporate strategies.

• Uphold Integrity & Governance

Ensure full compliance with RAM's policies, regulatory requirements, and the highest

standards of professionalism, objectivity, and ethical conduct.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related disciplines
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in credit analysis, financial modelling, business consulting, audit, or research
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and critical thinking ability
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to translate complex financial data into clear, meaningful insights
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and accountability
