Assistant Vice President, Finance (General Partners) Contract Basis

The Role

Your scope will encompass the full scope to support the regional finance primary of a fund management industry, per below:

  • Preparing the financial statements including book-keeping for full sets of accounts, cash flow reporting and related notes to the accounts for statutory reporting and any ad-hoc assignments from time to time.
  • Preparing and submitting periodic reports to comply with the Monetary Authority of Singapore regulations.
  • Liaising with tax agents on regulatory tax reporting.
  • Executing for treasury payments, liaising with corporate bank personnel, daily monitoring of cash movements and billings for cross-charging for related entities.
  • Liaising with corporate secretaries on the full scope of corporate secretarial including submission of annual returns.
  • Acquiring fair knowledge in reviewing legal agreements and monitoring the milestones in the agreement.
  • Liaising with auditors, outsourced vendors and external stakeholders for respective TAEL entities in the Asean region.

To excel in this role, the applicant should possess:

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in an accounting firm or financial reporting role in a fund management company.
  • Solid technical knowledge and hands-on experience in the day-to-day finance operations.
  • Excellent tertiary qualifications with a professional qualification in accounting preferably ICAEW, ACCA or its equivalent is an added advantage.
  • Ability to analyse and articulate financial data to evaluate and value add to the management decision- making process.
  • An organised, resourceful, responsible and solution-oriented work approach.
  • Possess a pleasant personality and good interpersonal skills to interact at all levels and work effectively across cultures.
  • A team player and solution-oriented work approach.
  • Ability to work independently under pressure.
