Job Purpose:
The incumbent is responsible for managing the fixed income and money market portfolio to achieve fund's objectives and target return.
Key Accountabilities:
- Portfolio Management
- Managing the fixed income and money market portfolios of LTAT while ensuring that the portfolios are managed in accordance with the mandates and reported strategy.
- Collaboration
- Collaborate with other investment professionals, analysts and support staff to ensure effective communication and coordination of investment activities and contribute to the development of broader investment strategies and initiatives.
- Risk Management
- Stay vigilant on daily financial market trends and consistently provide insightful market updates during investment meetings to ensure the investment team remains well-informed and proactive in response to dynamic market conditions.
- Asset Allocation
- Develop and execute asset allocation strategies to optimise portfolio returns while considering risk factors and market conditions and regularly review and adjust portfolio allocations based on market trends, economic forecasts and investment objectives.
- Performance Analysis
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of fixed income and money market portfolios against benchmarks and goals and conduct-in-depth performance analysis to identify areas for improvement and recommend adjustments to enhance overall portfolio returns.
- To undertake any additional assignment as instructed by LTAT.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Business or related field.
- Advanced Degree (MBA, CFA) is preferred.
- Minimum 3-7 years of progressive experience in Fixed Income fund management, or other investment-related roles within asset management industry.
