- Lead and manage Health Claims including support services in Medical Claims.
- Develop and Applying appropriate strategies and operations needs based on trends and establishing goals.
- Drive the team into delivering strong Customer Service focus and optimal Claims services.
The Job
- Analysing Health Claims data to improve processes, ensure resources are properly allocated and maximize efficiency.
- Evaluate Health Claims performance and key metrics.
- Ensure Health Claims operations are according to company's standards and regulatory policies.
- Hiring and review of training & development plan to support core competencies and performance.
- Oversee and manage service initiative projects as required.
- Drive culture and conduct behavioural expectations within the team.
- Address any other tasks assigned from time to time.
- Takes accountability in considering business and regulatory compliance risks and takes appropriate steps to mitigate the risks.
- Maintains awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.
- Highlights any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practices.
We are looking for people who
- Tertiary qualification preferably in Communication, Management, Business Administration or Insurance.
- ALMI, FLMI or Diploma in MII or part ACII, AMII is an added advantage.
- Degree in Nursing or Healthcare related discipline is an added advantage.
- Minimally 10 years in insurance industry, particularly in Medical/ Healthcare environment with 5 years in supervisory capacity.
- Excellent business acumen with effective communication skills (written & verbal), Customer Service concepts & best practices, Conflict Resolution, understanding & interpretation of data.
- Excellent stakeholder's management and strong alignment with company's core value and management directions.
- Highly accountable & result oriented.
- Strong Supervisory & resource planning.
- Expected to On-call for necessary operations or servicing needs.
- High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork.
- Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes.
