Job Description

Main Responsibility

Integrated Data Quality System (IDQS) Review

• Lead the Integrated Data Quality System (IDQS) review initiated by Group to ensure data quality internal controls are tested efficiently

• Initiate discussions with cross-departments on IDQS activities based on Group rolled-down timeline to ensure all timeline met

• Review and close the gaps from Group audited results within timeline

Process Improvement

• Initiate and review financial management needs of the finance team and propose new systems / processes (such as Power BI, Power Automate, MS Excel Macros or even RPA etc.) to support these needs where appro-priate

Operating Cost Control (OCC) Monitoring

• Lead, track and monitor the Operating Cost Control (OCC) expenses to ensure within regulatory limit and conduct quarterly reporting to BNM

• Initiate budget expense discussions with the Business Units for the annual strategic planning

Frameworks, Policies, Guidelines and SOPs

• Review of the local financial and sustainability processes to ensure adop-tion and compliance to Group policies where applicable

• Review the related Frameworks, Policies, Guidelines and SOPs for syn-chronisation or process improvement purposes (e.g., Finance, Sustainabil-ity, Risk etc.)

Other Strategic Projects

• Assist Head of Finance Business Partner on strategic projects for the Company

Compliance (this is compulsory section)

Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements and all other relevant statutory regulations and guidelines, as well as relevant Company, Regional and Generali policies and procedures.

Information Security (IS):

-Responsible for defining requirements as regards to information availability, confidentiality, and integrity. Managers must ensure that all staff members (including temporary staff) and providers comply with the relevant security standards.

- Perform risk analysis to determine risk and potential business impacts.

- Liaise and co-ordinate with Information System Security Manager on all Information Sys-tem Security activities within department.

- Ensure compliance on Information System Security standards and Information System Security guidelines are adhere to within department.

Data Privacy:

Ensure compliance with Data Privacy laws and regulations, policies, standards, process and procedures implemented by the Company at all times.

Qualification and Experience Requirement

Education : Bachelor's Degree in Accounting / Finance or equivalent

Experience : Minimum 5 years of experience in relevant and related job functions/roles

Skills

• Ability to adapt and learn fast, diligent, trustworthy and have strong initia-tive to learn

• Result oriented, committed, team player, positive working attitude, good communication and interpersonal skills

• Computer literate, specifically in MS Office, MS Word, Power BI and Power Automate preferably

• Strong communication skills

• Experience in project management

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• An analytical mind and inclination for problem-solving
