Job Description

Planning and design of Shariah compliant products and services to meet the needs of customers and the business strategies of the Bank.
Ensuring that the Islamic products are compliant with Shariah, legal and regulatory requirements at all times.
Formulation of processes and procedures for Shariah compliant products and services.
Research to maintain competitiveness of the product suite and assess marketability of new products to be developed.
Preparation of product proposal and obtaining approval, concurrence, notation or endorsement from all relevant approving parties.
Drafting of product documentation, including vetting materials provided by stakeholders.
Provide training and briefing sessions to the lines of business and operation teams.
Collaborating with stakeholders for initiatives and for the launch of new or variations of Shariah compliant products.
Management of all product requirements including system fixes and enhancements and implementation of regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Obtain advice and support cross department whenever necessary.
Attend to audit inquiries and issues relevant to Islamic consumer products and services.
Provide assistance and guidance for relevant consumer product queries via Islamic Helpdesk.
Execution of adhoc projects.
Liaison person for matters involving Islamic consumer banking products and services.
Conduct product reviews, review of documents, policies (if any) and standard operating procedures.
