Position Summary:

  • Provide leadership & guidance on Warehouse Operations in Malaysia
  • Oversee the development and implementation of Warehouse solution initiatives which include warehouse and inventory management, distribution and product's quality assurance.
  • Strengthen the company's logistics monitoring processes, warehouse SOP and operation's cost effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Ability to run E-Commerce Operations smoothly and timely
  • Partner with key business leaders to improve business performance through improving logistics planning tools and company capabilities.
  • Implement, redevelop and monitor KPI's in line with best practises.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the Malaysia Warehouse and Ecommerce Operations
  • To work closely with all Allocators, Merchandisers and GM on forecast vs supply
  • Work closely with Digital and IT team on Ecommerce Operations and Troubleshooting
  • To ensure storage done in most cost optimum manner and aged stocks to be actively moved with the guidance of Finance and Inventory Dept.
  • Responsible to improve the operation flow in accordance with speed to market and cost efficiency
  • Responsible to plan and organize the inventory cycle count activities and maintain high level of safety, housekeeping & 5S
  • Manage warehouse related issues from root cause investigations, corrective action & improvement strategies
  • Ensure all data inputs of logistics details is entered and updated on a timely manner;
  • Liaise with transporters on timely delivery of goods;
  • Coordinate and communicate with other departments, internally and externally, to solve problems related to warehouse and logistics activities;
  • Responsible to work closely with cross functional departments to manage the distribution arrangements and logistics activities to ensure the order fulfilment is meeting the stores expectation
  • To set policy and guidelines for delivering commercial and cost-effective procuring process for the business

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum a Degree in any discipline
  • Minimum 10 years of warehouse management experience in with experience in people management.
  • Good exposure in Warehouse set up and migrations with exceptional capabilities in thinking out of box.
  • Must have experience in ecommerce warehouse operations.
  • Good with numbers and productivity management.
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Pleasant Personality
  • Excellent communicator
  • Proficient in computer skills
  • Able to work under stress and independently
  • Fluent English and both in written and spoken. Knowledge of other language is added advantage.
