Job Description

The Strategy Team within Group Strategy & Transformation supports senior management in shaping the Bank's strategic direction, facilitating key decisionmaking, and driving execution of Groupwide strategic initiatives. The role combines strategy formulation, analytical support, governance, execution discipline, performance monitoring, working across business segments and Group functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development of Group strategy and vision papers, including strategic direction, priorities, and longterm themes.
  • Conduct highlevel strategic research and analysis on macroeconomic, industry, and competitive trends to support strategy formulation and decisions.
  • Support execution of Group strategic initiatives, including initiative structuring, delivery tracking, and coordination across stakeholders to ensure successful execution.
  • Facilitate Grouplevel strategic decisionmaking by developing structured analysis, options assessments, and recommendations.
  • Support governance, prioritisation, and control of strategic investments, ensuring alignment with Group strategy and value creation objectives.
  • Support development and monitoring of the Group performance/ strategic KPIs.
  • Act as secretariat for key management committees.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or a related discipline; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant work experience in strategy, management
  • consulting, corporate finance, equity research, or similar analytical roles.
  • Experience in financial services is an advantage.

  • Strong work ethics, ownership mindset, and attention to detail.
  • Good stakeholder management and communication skills, including interaction with senior management.
  • Good project management skillset, with ability to structure workplans, track deliverables, and manage dependencies.
  • Strong written and presentation skills, particularly for senior management materials.
  • Intellectual curiosity and comfort working across a wide range of business topics.

Preferred

  • Prior equity research or investment-related experience.
  • Exposure to strategy execution, investment evaluation, or performance management frameworks.
