GENERAL SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Working closely with the Test Lead, Functional Leads and business user for testing all the aspects of a software solution, both functionally and technically, in order to meet the requirements and overall quality of the intended solution.
RESPONSIBILITIES & SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Understanding the test requirements and develop the automation test plan
- Develop, maintain and execute effective manual and/or automated test scripts to verify application functionality and adherence to business requirements.
- Develop and manage a repository of test data to support testing efforts.
- Provide progress reporting and defect tracking related to testing efforts.
- Comply with System Development/Project Life Cycle (SDLC), Change Management, Software Validation requirements.
- Handle additional duties and/or responsibilities as assigned.
KEY POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree in Information Technology / Software Engineering
- Experience in web based test management tools (HP ALM/UFT) or RSAT.
- Knowledge of manufacturing and financial systems (ORACLE/D365) is preferred.
- Hands-on coding experience in scripting language- VB Scripting
- Required Skills (s) : VB Script, SQL
