The Opportunity

This is a 3rd party contract role based in Kuala Lumpur where you will support Mattel's Order Management team in EMEA. As an Associate Order Management Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of customer orders for our EMEA region.

Your primary responsibility will be to accurately review, validate, and process customer orders, ensuring timely stock allocation and shipment preparation.

What Your Impact Will Be

Order Management:

  • Efficiently process automated orders (EDI, SFA) and manual orders (Excel uploads).
  • Allocate stock to orders and prepare shipments for the warehouse.
  • Confirm orders in the customer web portal.
  • Conduct thorough checks to identify and rectify errors in product information, pricing, and customer details.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer data records.
  • Facilitate inquires from sales, finance, planning and logistics teams.
  • Collaborate with local market Customer Fulfillment teams to address inquiries and resolve issues.
  • Coordinate logistical processes to ensure timely delivery.

Process Improvement:

  • Actively participate in process improvement initiatives to streamline operations and enhance efficiency across EMEA markets.
  • Contribute innovative ideas and solutions to optimize workflows and reduce errors.

Administrative Tasks:

  • Perform additional administrative duties as required, such as report generation and data analysis.

What We're Looking For

Language Proficiency:

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Proficiency in a second European language is a plus.

Technical Skills

  • Technical Skills Advanced Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel), AS400 knowledge preferred, strong supply chain process understanding.
  • Excellent data entry accuracy and numerical skills.

Soft Skills

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in data processing and control, with prior experience in Supply Chain or Order Management processes preferred.
  • Prior involvement in change management initiatives.

Work Arrangement

  • We are looking for someone who is comfortable to work from 11:00am to 8:00pm and 12:00pm to 9:00pm
  • Comfortable with the type of employment offered - 3rd Party Contractor
  • This is a maternity backfill position for the period of: October 2026 to February 2027
