Description
We are seeking an application engineer to support the deliverables of our global team and initiatives. As a member of our team, using Agile practices, you will lead us to timely delivery of high-quality technical solutions that drive cross-functional business strategies and initiatives.

Desired skills and experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field required. Knowledge and understanding of Product Life Cycle Management business processes Basic understanding of Creo parametric modeling/drawing procedures and practices Exposure to manufacturing BOMs and Routings Experience in MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint Exposure to Azure DevOps (ADO) navigation a plus Familiarity with Windchill concepts such as Workflow Design, Type and Attribute Management, Container Strategy and Access Control Policies, Object Initialization Rules, Life Cycle Definition, Team Templates, Change Process and Templates, Creo Parametric, Creo/Toolkit API, CAD Data Management, XBOM Management, Process Planning, etc a plus Technical Components of the position includes such tools and technologies as: - PTC Products: Windchill, Creo, ESI/TIBCO, ThingWorx
- ERP Systems: SAP ECC, SAP S/4
- Programming Skills: Java, JavaScript, SQL
- Other: MS Office Suite, MS Azure DevOps

What You Will Be Doing:
- Supporting end-user requests or issues using the incident reporting tool ServiceNow.
- Taking part in on-call rotation supporting end-users and applications.
- Troubleshooting business and technical issues in the Windchill and Creo environments.
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation.
- Developing system requirements and identifying alternatives with associated costs for solutions that use Steelcase enterprise technology standards or emerging technologies.
- Building relationships with and consulting with one or more client groups, either internal or external.
- Implementing, deploying, maintaining, and upgrading solutions that use PLM or other Steelcase enterprise technologies.
- Ensuring technical solutions meet business requirements and expectations.
- Researching platform best practices to meet end-user requests.
- Maintaining a working knowledge of advancing technologies and freely exchanging new ideas and suggestions for improvement.
- Applying Agile methodologies and concepts through the entire development lifecycle.
