What would you do
To provide data reporting, dashboarding, and advanced analytical support to stakeholders, generating actionable insights that improve business performance, support revenue growth, enhance customer stickiness, and enable data-driven decision-making across the organisation.
- Execute analytics projects and provide ad hoc analysis to business units including Business, Products, Operations, Finance, Refund & Client Care, Risk Management, external partners & stakeholders, etc, to achieve Group's goals including revenue/cost and operations excellence targets.
- Understand business objectives and support deep-dive investigations with data (existing or new) to recommend ideas for product improvements, revenue uplifts, and resolve customer problems.
- Implement processes and establish indicators to monitor business performance and progress.
- Collaborate with Analytics Engineering and Business Intelligence teams to deliver data project milestones.
- Maintain data integrity by monitoring and troubleshooting data automation and reporting issues.
- Utilise open-source tools to create and automate reports and develop interactive dashboards to enable data-driven decision-making across the organisation.
- Support presentation of data and findings beyond just numbers by leveraging on visually appealing dashboards or other visualisation techniques.
- Develop documentation in terms of business rules and business requirements, data dictionary, pipeline definition, data flow, scheduled tasks, etc.
- Ensure high quality and accuracy in each deliverable.
- Any other duties and tasks assigned and/or as required.
Accountabilities:
- Completion and integrity of insight and recommendation reports for stakeholders
- Fulfilment of data support requests from stakeholders in compliance with governance and controls
Who should join us
- Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information System, Math, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or equivalent
- Certification in relevant data and analytics topics
- 1-3 years of experience in data and analytics industry
- Hands-on and successful delivery of insight & recommendation reports preferred
- Advanced SQL, NoSQL, GQL, Python, R, DAX scripting & programming skills
- Visualisation tools not limited to PowerBI, Tableau, QuickBI, Qlik
- Systematic thinker with the ability to understand the holistic picture and complex scenarios
- Ability to deliver on tight timelines and move quickly with cross-functional teams
- Detail-oriented and highly organised
- Good critical thinking and numerical reasoning skills
- Understanding of data security and compliance standards
- Profound in communications and presentation of complex analytical outputs to stakeholders
- Thrive as a team player, uphold high integrity and trustworthiness
- Self-starter, independent, strong desire to learn new skills, adaptable to embrace new changes
- Enjoy working in Agile as part of a scrum team
