About The Role
We are seeking a motivated
Associate Data Scientist to join RHB Banking Group. In this role, you will apply advanced analytics methods to solve business problems, generate actionable insights, and support data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will work closely with business units to deliver high-quality analytics solutions and contribute to the development of future analytics capabilities.
What You Will Be Doing
- Assess applicability of advanced analytics methods for business topics.
- Build methodologies and conduct advanced analytics to address business problems.
- Generate actionable business insights from analytics outputs.
- Execute advanced analytics projects and provide ad hoc analyses to business units.
- Pilot advanced analytics methods, tools, and platforms.
- Design, develop, and execute analytical algorithms, techniques, and statistical methods to solve business requirements.
- Ensure timely delivery of analysis and proactively manage delays or issues.
- Maintain high quality and accuracy in all deliverables.
- Support business continuity of analytics deliverables.
- Understand the implications of advanced analytics methodologies and assist in defining solutions for future business needs.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Strong communication skills with effective writing and presentation abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of statistical analysis and data manipulation tools such as Python, R, or SQL.
- SAS programming skills are a plus.
- Experience with Dataiku Data Science Workbench is an advantage.
