About the Role
The objective of the Head of IPC is to lead a multi-disciplinary organization
providing a portfolio of Incident, Problem and Change (IPC) services Group-wide,
including Local Business Units (LBUs), Lines of Business and Group Office.
These services are to be augmented through establishment of a 24x7 major
incident management function, supporting all lines of business and LBUs.
This role will work closely with LBU CTOs and Business Leaders to enable AIA's
business to achieve its goals through the adoption and operation of world class
IPC and GSAM processes. The role requires a deep understanding of Information
Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) process design and implementation with
a track record of building and maturing enterprise-wide IPC programs.
The holder of the role will have budgetary responsibility for all tool selection,
implementation as well as Team build up and out in AIA's share services location.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
In collaboration with LBU CTO's and IT leadership across AIA's business, lead the development of a roadmap for AIA IPC transformation and strategy for 3 years, aligning closely with Technology, Digital and Analytics and corporate strategic goals and be accountable for delivering against the agreed plan.
Full accountability for the strategic management of AIA's IPC.
Lead, coach, mentor and develop a diverse and highly efficient team to deliver world-class outcomes for AIA in each area of Technology. Provide guidance and learning to peers across IT across Asia-Pacific.
Work with the closely with Group CISO to ensure security and regulatory compliance for all deployed services and solutions to ensure AIA is fully protected and technology is properly controlled.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Experience:
15+ years relevant experience in managing large enterprise technology IPC functions, with at least 7 years in a senior leadership role.
Demonstrable track of IPC implementation and transformation and enterprise scale.
Demonstrable experience in working at EXCO / C-Level to drive technology initiatives and provide guidance / expertise / advice.
Excellent understanding and proven experience in ITSM implementation in a multi-site environment.
Proven experience plus qualification in ITIL.
Practical experience of Leading and transforming a complex mixed in /outsourced technology teams within a large enterprise environment.
Experience of leading and process transformation in a decentralized organization, preferably within a Group / Regional Office where delivery is through influence rather than direct control.
Sound understanding of IT operating model design and best practices.
Certification, ITIL, COBIT, Sigma and Prince or other.
