As an Associate Engineer – Factory Innovation, you will be responsible for...

Driving Business Growth:

  • Leading the commercialization of solutions for new process and material innovations into manufacturing facilities.
  • Defining, planning, and executing process trials with R&D developers and Manufacturing teams to validate performance, quality, efficiency, and stability.
  • Identifying and resolving technical and material issues during commercialization.
  • Creating process material and process specifications for the plant during handover.
  • Collaborating with Product Developers, Technical Service, Engineers, suppliers, and Manufacturing teams to ensure smooth project handover.
  • Supporting continuous improvement and standardization of process and material quality specifications.

Leadership:

  • Functioning as a Program/Project Manager, Planner, Coordinator, Communicator, and Technical Expert.
  • Providing strategic input to cross-functional teams and influencing decision-making through technical insights.

Innovation / Creativity:

  • Identifying and implementing process productivity and sustainability improvement workstreams.
  • Collaborating with suppliers and global resources to scale new process solutions.

Technical Expertise:

  • Serving as the subject matter expert in process engineering, including equipment and process flow, raw material specifications, and Pringles finished-goods quality.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of current operational process technology and finished-process quality performance.

People Management:

  • Managing one direct report, setting performance expectations, conducting evaluations, and supporting career development.

Other Duties:

  • Being based in Enstek, Malaysia, with approximately 20% travel to manufacturing sites, suppliers, and regional offices.
  • Working extended hours, shifts, or weekends as required based on project needs.
  • Occasionally operating process equipment hands-on.

What you already have...

  • University Degree required and five (5) years of experience and knowledge in supply chain with particular focus on regional/global sourcing and supply planning
  • Experience in managing supply chain initiatives from a timely service point of view
  • In depth understanding of the main regions of MENAT business, customer needs and competitive landscape
  • Ability to assimilate multiple sources of data and deliver insight and recommendations
  • Language Skills (bi‐lingual): English (fluent)
  • Computer skills, including experience with ERP systems, MS Office and Power BI
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Deep analytical and problem‐solving skills
