We are looking for an Associate Engineer Fibre Routing Planning to support in-building fibre network design, including preparation of layout drawings and maintenance of accurate GIS records. The role involves monitoring implementation progress via DFF, aligning with the SDO Planner to meet CRD timelines, coordinating as-built updates with partners, verifying circuit routing between NGNIS and GIS, ensuring accurate costing, and updating design changes promptly.

- Monitor project implementation status via DFF and coordinate with partners
- Develop detailed fibre optic network designs for in-building installations, including risers, horizontal cabling, and termination points
- Align with the SDO Planner to ensure jobs are delivered on schedule in accordance with CRD timelines
- Prepare layout drawings, schematics, and documentation using GIS tools
- Maintain accurate records of fibre routes, termination points, and equipment locations in GIS/NGNIS
- Review and verify project costing and capital expenditures for fibre planning tasks
- Verify that all circuit routes are consistent between NGNIS and GIS systems
- Coordinate with partners on as-built drawings and update design changes promptly
- Any other duties assigned by the superior
Skills For Success
- Minimum diploma holder in Telecommunications, Civil Engineering or equivalent course
- Minimum 2 years experience in fibre planning or network design
- Fresh graduate is encouraged to apply
- Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve telecommunication network issues
- Basic knowledge of telecommunication infrastructure, including GPON and WAN (Layer 1) technologies
- Good English proficiency with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with flexibility to work as a team
- Ability to perform in a fast paced environment & work well under pressure
- Computer literacy in MS Office, MSC Excel and Power Point
- Flexible to changes in work schedule
