This role is part of Alcon's Engineering function, a team focused on improving quality, processes, products, packaging and materials across our business to help deliver brilliant outcomes. The Associate, Facilities Engineering Technical Support (Para-Professional & Support Path), is primarily responsible for supporting tasks related to the design, planning, construction, and maintenance of facilities and equipment. You will assist in planning, budgeting, scheduling, and managing contracts, ensuring adherence to procedures and standards.
Specifics Include:
• Perform business support or clerical tasks related to the design, planning, construction, and maintenance of equipment, machinery, buildings, and facilities
• Assist in planning, budgeting, and scheduling facility modifications, including estimating costs for equipment, labor, and materials
• Help coordinate building space allocation, layout, communication services, and facilities expansion while ensuring adherence to health and safety standards
• Support the management of contracts and contractors, and engage with insurance providers to assist in developing and executing risk reduction projects such as fire prevention
• Contribute to facility master planning and assist in managing the Real Estate portfolio, including lease management, transaction management, and financial oversight for lease and maintenance costs
• Adhere to GxP regulations by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining accurate documentation, ensuring quality control, and completing required training
