If you are looking to grow in an exciting career filled with opportunities and potential, we are seeking a professional to join our team as Associate, Finance (Accounts, Operations & Systems).

The Role:

- To ensure accounts maintenance for Oracle Financial GL, i-Expense, DCMS and P2P is performed on daily and monthly basis.

- To ensure timely month end closing of all system.

- To handle data extraction request from user.

- To perform user acceptance test (UAT) for all financial related changes.

- As administrator Gift and Voucher to perform surprise checking on departments with gifts and voucher distribution.

- Ensure that sourcing and procurement are done in line with the GELM Procurement Policy.

- To prepare, compile and ensure timely submission of Monthly & Quarterly Life Insurance Payment (E-Payment) Survey to Life Insurance Association of Malaysia (LIAM) and BNM.

- To develop and automate Finance processes and tasks using process improvement tools e.g. RPA, Macro.

- To prepare, compile and update the IAAL and PAAL table as and when there are changes to the limit.

- To assist Assistant Manager and Finance Manager in any other assignments as and when required.

- Maintain awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies in order to understand the risk and better safeguard the company.

- Highlight any potential concerns /risks and proactively shares best risk management practice.

- Other responsibilities entailed

The Person:

- Possess a recognised Degree in Accounting (Information System) or Finance. Fresh graduate or 1-2 years working experience.

- Knowledge in Accounting Systems and Microsoft Excel VBA would be an added advantage.

- Experience in insurance industry an added advantage.

- Fast learner and good understanding on accounting system posting.

- High level of integrity, takes accountability of work and good attitude over teamwork.

- Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes.
