Job Purpose
The Fullstack Java Developer position exists to leverage competency in Java OOP and SpringBoot Framework to facilitate the organization's system development transformation from legacy to modern enterprise development, thereby aligning technological infrastructure with strategic objectives for enhanced efficiency and competitiveness.
Key Accountabilities
- Develop and maintain Java applications using SpringBoot framework, focusing on learning and applying object-oriented programming principles.
- Support senior developers in analyzing and migrating legacy systems to modern enterprise solutions, gaining hands-on experience in the process.
- Work closely with team members to contribute to project goals, while actively learning from experienced developers and participating in code reviews.
- Create documentation for code developed, learn from bestpractices shared within the team, and continuously improve coding skills and understanding of Java development standards.
- Communicate effectively with team members, seek guidance when needed, and demonstrate flexibility in adapting to new tasks and challenges as part of the learning process.
Qualifications, Skills & Knowledge
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or an equivalent.
- Proficiency in Java programming language, including object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts such as inheritance, polymorphism, and encapsulation, as well as practical experience in writing clean, efficient code.
- Strong understanding of the SpringBoot framework, including dependency injection, Spring MVC architecture, and Spring Data JPA for building scalable and robust Java applications.
- Familiarity with Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) such as IntelliJ IDEA or Eclipse, as well as proficiency in using build automation tools like Maven or Gradle for project management and dependency management.
- Basic knowledge of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, along with an understanding of web application architecture and HTTP protocols, to support front-end development tasks and interact with web services.
