Your new role
Reporting to the Head of Finance, this role will involve hands-on preparation of reports, data analysis, and collaboration across the organisation. Key responsibilities will include:
- Performing full spectrum of GL functions to maintain full set of accounts.
- Preparation of month-end journal vouchers, financial statements, and analyses, with a focus on revenue recognition (e.g., percentage of completion method) and finance lease accounting.
- Supporting the timely month-end close and reporting to stakeholders, including budget forecasts and board papers with accounting insights.
- Collaborating with teams to gather data for group consolidations and ensure consistent financial reporting.
- Assist in audits, statutory reporting, and tax compliance efforts.
- Contribute to process improvements and innovations in financial systems.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proficiency in Mandarin, speaking and writing.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting/ finance. Professional qualifications such as ACCA, ICAEW is highly preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in Big 4 External Audit.
- Proficient with MS Office.
- Good planning / organisational skills and be able to multitask.
- Ability to work in a team and in a multifunctional and multicultural environment.
