Timely delivery of DHL packages around the globe in a way that ensures customer data are secure is in the core of what we do. You will provide second/third level day-to-day operation support, and help investigate and resolve incidents, which were not resolved in lower support levels. Sometimes, issues might get tricky and this is where cooperation on troubleshooting with other IT support teams and specialists will come into play. When it comes to firmware bugs, vulnerabilities and other issues related to our technologies, communicating with our vendors is key.

For any issues related to telecommunication/security systems within the DHL Group environment, you are our superhero. The same applies when it comes to managing, proposing and implementing all necessary changes to production security devices in all IT Services Data Centers and premises, providing global availability to key DHL Group services.

Last but not least, security technologies associated with Firewalls, Load Balancers, VPNs, Proxies, Azure and Google Cloud are all in your support league.

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled IT Consultant to join our DevOps team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and support to our internal teams and clients on all aspects of IT infrastructure, automation, and software delivery processes.

Responsibilities

• Consult with development teams, operations staff, and stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide recommendations for optimizing IT systems, processes, and workflows.
• Ability to listen attentively to understand the unique challenges each client faces.
• Analytical thinking, with the ability to evaluate complex systems and processes, identify potential issues, and develop effective solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain DevOps best practices, including continuous integration, continuous deployment, and infrastructure as code.
• Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and security audits to ensure the quality, reliability, and security of IT systems.
• Provide training and knowledge transfer to internal teams on DevOps methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends, technologies, and industry best practices in DevOps, cloud computing, and IT infrastructure.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Openshift) and tools such as Jira, Confluence, Git, ServiceNow

Hi, my name is Miroslava Fucikova and I'm a team manager. I started my career at DHL IT Services in Prague, when I took a role as application support specialist. Gaining more hands-on experience with support and development has always fascinated me, so I moved to the Sort & Containerization domain within Express division. Our DevOps team is a diverse and globally distributed gr oup of talented professionals, comprising 16 members from various backgrounds and cultures. With team members spanning across two continents, we embrace a rich tapestry of perspectives and experiences that fuel our innovation and success.
