Associate, IT Support (1-year contract)

We are seeking a Local IT Support professional to provide day-to-day technical support for users at the office. The role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, supporting network connectivity, and ensuring IT systems run smoothly to support business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide on-site IT support for desktop, laptop, printer, and peripheral issues
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and basic network problems
• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and office software
• Support users with email, system access, passwords, and basic cybersecurity practices
• Set up and maintain workstations, monitors, and office IT equipment
• Escalate unresolved technical issues to appropriate vendors or higher-level support
• Perform regular system checks, backups, and basic maintenance
• Maintain IT inventory, documentation, and asset records
• Assist with onboarding/offboarding of employees from an IT perspective

Knowledge, Experience and Skill

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• Minimum 1 year of related working experience in handling IT support or helpdesk role or a similar field is required
• Good knowledge of Windows OS, basic networking, and office applications
• Familiarity with printers, scanners, routers, and common office hardware
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to provide support on-site and respond promptly to user issues
• This position is a 12-month fixed-term contract role.
