What You'll Do:
To support the Associate Director of ERM & Ops Risk and the team in strengthening enterprise-wide financial and operational risk management practices across the Company, including digital payments, eWallet, remittance, lending, and other fintech-related businesses.
- Develop, review and monitor the Company risk appetite through top risks review and key risk indicators monitoring.
- Support financial risk management activities across TNGD Group and subsidiaries (including financial risk appetite monitoring, capital and liquidity risk monitoring, independent credit review, stress testing, etc.)
- Perform risk assessments for products, projects, or campaigns to ensure sound risk governance, appropriate controls, and effective mitigation measures prior to implementation.
- Identify, assess, and monitor operational risks across the Company, including those related to business processes, systems, people, and external factors, with various Operational Risk Tools (e.g., MSII, KRI, RCSA, incident management).
- Support the adoption of AI, automation, and data analytics in risk management processes, including automated risk automation, predictive risk identification, portfolio analytics, anomaly detection, and dashboard visualization.
- Continuously enhance and automate risk tools, dashboards, and reporting systems to improve operational efficiency and risk visibility.
- Prepare and promptly submit required report to the regulators, such as Bank Negara Malaysia, Paynet and/or Securities Commission.
- Contribute to the development and revision of Risk Management related policies and procedures to ensure alignment with the Company's risk appetite and regulatory standards.
- Work closely with business, product, technology, compliance, finance, operations teams and other business units to strengthen risk governance and embed risk awareness in business initiatives.
- Support secretariat duties in meeting, including timely follow up and distribution of documents.
Role Requirements:
- 3–5 years experience in Operational Risk, Financial Risk, Enterprise Risk Management, or related risk functions within fintech, digital banking, eWallet, payments, remittance, lending, or financial services industries.
- Familiarity with AI, machine learning, and data analytics applications in risk management.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Data Science, Business, or related disciplines. Professional certifications such as FRM, CFA, or PRM are an added advantage. Knowledge in ESG (Environment, Sustainability Governance) will be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify risks, control gaps, and emerging issues.
- Good understanding of financial risk management, credit risk governance, portfolio monitoring, and regulatory requirements within fintech, eWallet, remittance, or lending businesses.
- Strong governance, documentation, review, and reporting capabilities with attention to detail and regulatory compliance.
- Familiarity with AI, data analytics, and risk management tools such as SQL, Python, Power BI, Tableau, or SAS.
- Good communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in dynamic and fast-paced environment. Self-starter who works independently, solution-oriented, and collaborates well with teams.
